About the position

The Retail Sales Manager at Harbor Freight Tools is a key member of a high-performing team responsible for leading and developing store operations. This role emphasizes customer service, team leadership, and operational excellence, providing a clear path for career advancement in retail management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and model professional customer service
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store
• Cross-train in all areas of store operations including Stocking/Sales associate duties and responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and develop others
• Serve as Leader on Duty as scheduled
• Be a subject matter expert in your role and model 'Great Place To Work' behaviors
• Ensure items are in stock and priced correctly
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum 2 years' experience in retail management/leadership role
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates in person, e-mail, and telephone
• Ability to intermittently lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand/move for entire shift
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
• Physically able and willing to become certified to operate a forklift in accordance with IIPP (Injury, and Illness Prevention Program)
• Open availability with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
