About the position

The Retail Store Manager at Evolution Wireless Inc. is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of a retail location. This role focuses on ensuring efficient and profitable store operations, managing staff, driving sales, maintaining inventory, and upholding company standards to achieve business goals. The manager will also play a key role in staff training, performance management, and customer relations to foster a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews and make selective hiring decisions for staff.
  • Organize and manage staff schedules to align with business needs.
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations for staff.
  • Address disciplinary issues in accordance with company policy.
  • Manage day-to-day store operations, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Lead and support the sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Review and verify daily sales reports and cash receipts.
  • Resolve customer issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with regional managers to plan and execute sales and marketing strategies.
  • Oversee inventory levels and ensure accurate data entry for purchasing and sales tracking.
  • Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing.
  • Strategically place and rotate merchandise to enhance customer engagement.
  • Utilize company software to analyze sales data and track inventory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of two years of experience in retail and/or customer service, with a strong preference for management experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
