Responsibilities

• Answering phones and responding to customer inquiries.
• Operating Point of Sale software to process credit card transactions.
• Providing product and service knowledge to customers.
• Assisting clients with tile and countertop selections.
• Calculating square footage to determine material needs.
• Reading floor plans and blueprints occasionally.
• Accurately inputting orders into QuickBooks software.
• Preparing sales invoices, quotes, and follow-up communications.
• Maintaining positive interactions with suppliers and vendors.
• Assisting the Showroom Manager with other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
• Prior customer service experience, preferably in sales, retail, or home improvement industries.
• Strong proficiency in math, including calculating costs and square footage.
• Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn QuickBooks software.
