About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Retail Sales & Social Media Manager to join our team. This dual-role position involves engaging with customers in our store, managing sales, and enhancing our brand presence on social media platforms. If you love dogs and have a knack for both sales and social media, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers with their shopping needs, providing excellent customer service.
  • Offer product recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Handle cash register operations, including processing sales transactions and managing inventory.
  • Assist in receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our products and services to answer customer inquiries effectively.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create and curate engaging content for our social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize content and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the team to promote store events, sales, and special promotions.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and emerging platforms to keep our content fresh and relevant.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in retail sales and customer service.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools for business purposes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Passion for dogs and a good understanding of pet products and care.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design or photography is a plus.
