About the position

The Retail Sales Supervisor at Bob's Discount Furniture plays a crucial role in driving the company's success and growth in the retail industry. This position involves leading a motivated sales team in a customer-centric environment, ensuring high levels of service and achieving sales goals. The supervisor will utilize advanced technology to coach and train team members, while also engaging with customers to fulfill their furniture needs in a welcoming showroom atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the showroom according to company policy and expectations.
  • Oversee the sales floor to ensure the highest level of customer service and maximum average sale.
  • Provide continuous training, coaching, and mentoring to the Guest Experience team.
  • Exhibit an enthusiastic presence in the showroom and adhere to Sales Floor Guidelines.
  • Practice 'Management Involvement' to assist the Guest Experience team in delivering high-caliber customer service.
  • Conduct Bob's Huddles and Drills with enthusiasm to create a fun and educational environment.
  • Coach the team to meet customer needs and company expectations according to Bob's Mystery Shop Guidelines.
  • Train and ensure the Guest Experience team follows Bob's 7 Steps of Selling for a consistent service experience.
  • Engage in ongoing e-learning and training modules to enhance product knowledge.
  • Encourage customers to rate the service to build the Bob's Brand.
  • Complete the sales process and ensure all required processes are done accurately and timely.
  • Maintain the showroom to be customer-ready at all times.
