Responsibilities

• Provide strong understanding and enthusiasm for technology, especially company products and services.
• Support the store team in both front and back of the store operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and accessibility of the sales floor, reporting any issues to leadership.
• Greet customers and identify sales opportunities during peak times, connecting them to sales consultants.
• Demonstrate company technology to new customers to ensure they understand the basics of Optimum services.
• Perform non-sales customer service transactions, including equipment returns and order fulfillment.
• Provide in-store post-sales support for device data transfers and phone number ports.
• Assist with onboarding Mobile customers, including account setup and data transfer.
• Conduct inventory checks and assist with receiving and stocking inventory according to store standards.
• Participate in the weekly cycle count process and suggest improvements to enhance customer and store experience.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of work experience.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel to other stores within 35 miles, if required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 25-pound boxes.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods, either standing or sitting.
• Ability to move in different positions in a retail setting, including tight and confined spaces.
• Occasional ability to ascend/descend a ladder to access products/boxes.
