About the position
As a Retail Scan Associate at Circana, you will play a crucial role in collecting data that influences the shopping experience. This position involves visiting various retail stores, including grocery, convenience, drug, and mass merchandise stores, to scan barcodes of products. The data collected is essential for assessing and improving the performance of both the products and the stores. You will be working with major brand retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Target, and Albertsons, as well as smaller independent retailers in your neighborhood. Your daily tasks will include using a downloadable app on your personal device to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store. The average work hours will range from 2 to 20 hours per week, depending on the size of the store and project requirements. This role offers workplace independence, flexible hours based on your schedule, and the opportunity to engage in some physical activity. You will also be responsible for inventorying specific products within the store, which is critical to the data we deliver to our clients. Responsibilities
- Visit assigned local retailers to perform in-store data collections.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
- Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
- Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet in the air.
- Ability to bend, stretch, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
