About the position
The Retail Service Specialist at AAA East Central is a full-time position focused on providing exceptional customer service in a sales environment. The role involves cross-selling and upselling AAA products and services while ensuring a positive experience for members and customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere and be committed to achieving sales and service goals.
Responsibilities
- Greet all members and customers, determine their needs, and provide Legendary Service.
- Provide DMV vehicle license, registration, and notary services.
- Reach sales and service goals (and earn incentives!) for multiple AAA products and services.
- Prepare and provide TripTik® travel routings, marked road maps, tour books, and other travel-related materials.
- Issue passport photos.
- Accept payments for various products, provide accurate change and receipts, and balance and reconcile cash drawer.
- Make hotel and car rental reservations for members and provide travel destination information.
Requirements
- Experience in retail sales, banking, or a similar customer service/sales environment.
- Proven ability to exceed assigned sales or service quality goals.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid notary license.
- Experience with Microsoft Office basics.
- Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays.
- Ability to travel locally when necessary.
- A high school diploma or GED.
