About the position
The position involves operating a customer service window to provide exceptional customer service on a variety of transactions. The role includes providing technical direction and training for other customer service representatives, suggesting solutions to customers, and referring them to appropriate areas of the bank. The individual will resolve customer problems, issues, and concerns in an accurate and efficient manner. The work hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a requirement for flexibility around branch hours.
Responsibilities
- Operate a customer service window to provide exceptional customer service.
- Establish accuracy and balancing skills with a balancing rate of 85% in accordance with Retail Policies and Procedures.
- Utilize Bank's Computer Systems to operate a customer service window efficiently and accurately.
- Identify customers and verify authenticity of transactions to protect against fraud.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, and various loan payments.
- Balance cash window daily and ensure completion of ATM and Vault balancing.
- Support branch leadership and contribute to branch goals and sales standards.
- Identify customer needs and promote the bank's services.
- Perform duties in support of branch operations, including monthly reports and reconciliations.
- Maintain good working relationships with bank employees in other departments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized training or a two-year degree.
- Two to five years of general and specialized experience, particularly in preparing balance reports.
- Successful completion of the retail training program.

- Experience in customer service within a banking environment.
- Knowledge of Consumer Bank Customer Service Standards.
