About the position

The position operates a customer service window to provide customers with quality service on a variety of transactions. The role requires providing technical direction and training for other customer service representatives. The employee must demonstrate competencies in bank operations and maintain a high level of accuracy and balancing skills in accordance with Retail Policies and Procedures. The position also involves promoting the bank's services, answering customer inquiries, and directing them to specialized departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a customer service window to provide quality service on various transactions.
• Complete the New to S&T RSS Job Family Plan as scheduled by Retail Training.
• Maintain a balancing rate of 85% in accordance with Retail Policies and Procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service as outlined by Branch Management.
• Utilize Customer Service Information Inquiry Computer Systems to identify customers and verify transactions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and other customer transactions accurately.
• Balance cash window daily and ensure completion of ATM and vault balancing.
• Support staff with Retail Services Supervisor and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Promote bank services and identify customer needs for additional services.
• Perform duties in support of branch operations, including monthly reports and reconciliations.
• Attend and complete training on Customer Service Information Inquiry Computer Systems and regulatory knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Specialized training or a two-year degree preferred.
• Two to five years of general and specialized experience in banking operations.
• Knowledge to prepare balance reports and complete retail training program.
