About the position
The ideal logistics processor is independent, motivated, results-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences every day. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and unloading freight, unpacking, and delivering newly arrived merchandise to the selling departments. You will fulfill customer orders in a timely manner while adhering to quality standards. Additionally, you will prepare and ship customer orders following established quality, packing, and shipping standards. Utilizing inventory management systems, you will scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with our inventory control processes. You will also assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms, providing general support to the store, which may include setting up special events, organizing the backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures. This position requires a high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative. Success in this role is often attributed to the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks efficiently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, as well as the ability to use a variety of technology and new computer applications. Physical demands include the ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. A flexible schedule based on business needs is also required, ensuring that you can adapt to the dynamic nature of the retail environment.
