About the position

The ideal logistics processor at Nordstrom is an independent and motivated individual who is results-oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences every day. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and unloading freight, unpacking, and delivering newly arrived merchandise to various selling departments. You will also fulfill customer orders in a timely manner while adhering to quality standards. This position requires you to prepare and ship customer orders, ensuring compliance with packing and shipping standards. Additionally, you will utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with our inventory control processes. Maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms is also a key responsibility, along with providing general support to the store, which may include setting up special events, organizing the backroom, managing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures. To excel in this position, you must demonstrate a high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative. Success in a fast-paced environment is crucial, as you will need to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to use a variety of technology and new computer applications. The role requires physical capability, including the ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. A flexible schedule based on business needs is also necessary, as the demands of the job may vary. Responsibilities
