About the position

The Retail Stock & Sales Floor Support position at Nordstrom Rack involves providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. The role focuses on enhancing the customer experience by assisting with fitting room processes, maintaining the sales floor, and managing inventory effectively. Team members are expected to contribute to a positive shopping atmosphere while ensuring merchandise is organized and readily available.

Responsibilities

• Keep the customer experience quick, easy, and fun while helping customers uncover great deals.
• Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms, then sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
• Work with the team to ensure the sales floor stays 'runway ready' through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Keep the stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Support all merchandise processes including filling in, markdowns, and re-ticketing.

Requirements

• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
