About the position

The Retail Store Assistant Manager at Pearlman Group will assist in overseeing and managing the daily operations of an industrial supply retail store. This role focuses on product sales, customer training, staff supervision, and maintaining the store's cleanliness and organization. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to meet performance goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the retail branch performance against KPI goals and work proactively to improve results.
• Meet or exceed monthly revenue targets for walk-in revenue.
• Ensure complete accuracy of the retail store inventory through regular cycle counts and complete inventory counts.
• Correctly receive, put-away, pick, pack, and ship products to ensure operational excellence.
• Follow Pearlman Group's standards for cleanliness, organization, planograms, and inventory displays.
• Ensure all orders are complete, accurate, and shipped on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented retail branch location.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager and outside sales to improve retail sales experience and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in the appropriate industry.
• Experience using a computer for daily tasks.
• Extensive verbal communication skills for customer and associate relations.
• Ability to develop relationships and work closely at all levels of an organization.
