About the position

The Retail Store Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive customer experience while adhering to production and workflow standards. This part-time position involves various operational tasks, including cash handling, customer service, and maintaining store cleanliness, all while reporting to store leadership.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining appropriate security of cash and donated goods
• Operating the register as directed
• Complying with agency policies and procedures
• Ensuring a high level of customer service both front and back
• Performing duties according to safety expectations and procedures
• Ensuring the physical safety of the back room and sales floor
• Communicating safety issues and concerns to ensure quick resolution
• Greeting customers and accepting donations while issuing receipts
• General store upkeep including sweeping, mopping, glass cleaning, and bathroom maintenance.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service preferred
• Comfort with handling cash and operation of a cash register
• Ability to perform job duties safely

Nice-to-haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is not required
