About the position

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for leading and managing the store team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while achieving sales and operational goals. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, managing store performance, and developing team members for advancement. The manager will spend the majority of their time on managerial tasks, with minimal involvement in non-managerial duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the store, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs.
• Deliver sales and profit plans while managing the store team to achieve their KPIs.
• Execute customer brand promises effectively.
• Implement and lead shrink and safety programs to meet goals.
• Utilize company tools to set, prioritize, and communicate goals to the team.
• Hire, train, observe, and coach team members to achieve results and manage performance processes.
• Promote a positive work environment and serve as a role model for the team.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and maintain operational understanding of all store departments.

Requirements

• Retail management leadership experience.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
