About the position

The Retail Store Manager (RSM) at AT&T, under Prime Communications, is responsible for overseeing the sales and operational standards of the assigned retail location. The RSM leads the team to achieve sales goals, enhance customer service, and maintain operational compliance. This role requires strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate staff, ensuring they meet performance metrics and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales quotas and income objectives.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and operational compliance.
  • Conduct regular coaching and training sessions for staff.
  • Resolve customer billing and service issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the District Manager to manage staffing and training needs.
  • Oversee the implementation of new products and services in the store.
  • Maintain store appearance and instill a sense of pride among employees.
  • Monitor and drive performance metrics related to sales and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • 6+ months of sales management experience.
  • 3+ years of full-time retail work experience.
  • Excellent sales skills with a proven track record of meeting performance standards.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with wireless terminology and AT&T Mobility systems.
  • Ability to work at multiple locations within the district as needed.
