About the position

The Retail Store Manager (RSM) at AT&T is responsible for overseeing the sales and operational standards of the assigned retail location. This role involves leading a team to achieve sales goals, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining operational compliance. The RSM is expected to inspire and motivate staff, manage customer experiences, and drive overall performance in the store.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales quotas and income objectives.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and operational standards are met.
  • Conduct regular coaching and training sessions for staff.
  • Resolve customer billing and service issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the District Manager to manage staffing and scheduling needs.
  • Oversee inventory management and operational compliance in the store.
  • Implement and uphold company values and culture within the store.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of sales management experience.
  • 3+ years of full-time retail work experience.
  • Excellent sales skills with a proven track record of meeting performance standards.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with wireless terminology and AT&T Mobility systems preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to operate personal computers and wireless equipment.
  • Reliable transportation to assist at other locations within a 30-minute radius.
