About the position

The Retail Store Manager (RSM) at AT&T Prime Communications is responsible for overseeing the sales and operational standards of the assigned retail location. This role focuses on driving sales performance, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing inventory effectively. The RSM leads a team of Retail Sales Consultants and Assistant Store Managers, fostering a positive work environment and implementing strategies to achieve sales goals and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales and operational standards of the retail location.
• Drive sales achievement and customer service results.
• Ensure Retail Sales Consultants and Assistant Store Managers meet or exceed sales quotas.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills to inspire and motivate the team.
• Manage customer experience initiatives and resolve billing/service issues.
• Conduct regular role plays to demonstrate effective sales techniques.
• Partner with District Manager to launch new products and ensure staff training on promotions.
• Maintain operational compliance and safeguard company assets.
• Ensure timely completion of required training for store personnel.

Requirements

• 6+ months of sales management experience.
• 3+ years of full-time retail work experience.
• Excellent sales skills and ability to meet performance standards.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with wireless terminology and AT&T Mobility systems preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other computer skills.
• Ability to work at multiple locations within the district as needed.
