About the position

As a Retail Store Manager I at FedEx Office, you will oversee the daily operations of a low to lower complexity store while developing your supervisory skills. This role involves driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, and creating a positive team environment. You will also perform functions typical of a store team member, providing a comprehensive foundation for future management roles in higher volume stores.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and model FedEx Office values to customers and team members.
  • Coach and teach your team, ensuring they have the tools and information needed to support company goals.
  • Work with supervisors to create solutions for business and customer needs.
  • Ensure an exceptional store experience that engages and retains customers and team members.
  • Use FedEx Office tools to select, train, develop, and manage direct reports.
  • Interact with supervisors for guidance and escalate issues as needed.
  • Execute all operational and store sales activities to exceed financial and customer experience targets.
  • Accomplish daily job duties including accounts receivable, inventory reports, and bank deposits.
  • Take ownership of store controls including financials, safety, security, and compliance.
  • Utilize Quality Improvement tools to innovate and improve the business.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or some college preferred.
  • High school degree or GED required.
  • 2+ years of related experience (retail, service, hospitality, military) with prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.

Nice-to-haves
