About the position

The Retail Store Manager at Buff City Soap is responsible for leading a team to create and maintain an exceptional client experience while managing the overall operations of the store. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety. The Store Manager plays a crucial role in driving company metrics and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct the workforce, making staffing decisions including hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and quality of client experience.
  • Monitor and motivate staff to achieve performance goals.
  • Handle minor maintenance issues and ensure cleanliness of the store.
  • Manage safety and security within the store.
  • Model and act in accordance with Buff City Soap principles to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Develop and coach employees to provide amazing client experiences.
  • Follow up swiftly on client concerns and issues.
  • Drive company metrics by developing action plans.
  • Manage and track stock of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
  • Maintain outstanding store conditions and visual merchandising compliance with brand standards.
  • Conduct performance assessments and provide feedback to improve sales performance.

Requirements

  • Management and/or sales experience required.
  • Basic computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor.
