About the position

The Retail Store Manager at SalonCentric is responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales in a retail environment focused on beauty products. This role involves recruiting and developing talent, setting clear goals, and creating strategies to enhance store performance while ensuring a positive work culture.

Responsibilities

  • Builds a high-performing team by recruiting top talent and providing ongoing training and feedback.
  • Establishes and communicates a clear vision and direction for the team.
  • Creates strategies to increase sales and profitability by identifying opportunities.
  • Promotes teamwork and engages team members with energy and optimism.
  • Provides clear expectations and constructive feedback to motivate team members.
  • Demonstrates integrity and builds trust by delivering on commitments.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of retail leadership experience
  • Self-directed with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding customer service, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use computerized point of sale system; SAP experience preferred
  • Must be able to work weekends as availability guidelines require
  • 18 years of age and High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk about the store throughout scheduled shift

Nice-to-haves

  • A Cosmetology license is a plus, but not required
