About the position

The Retail Store Manager at Buff City Soap is responsible for leading a team to create and maintain an exceptional client experience while managing the overall operations of the store. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety. The Store Manager plays a crucial role in driving company metrics and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and coaching employees to provide amazing client experiences.
  • Following up swiftly on client concerns and issues.
  • Consistently setting a positive example and demonstrating a calm demeanor during high volume periods.
  • Displaying a client-first attitude by holding team members accountable for quality client service.
  • Driving company metrics by developing action plans.
  • Motivating and instructing the makery team by implementing company programs.
  • Managing with integrity and honesty while promoting the culture, values, and mission of Buff City Soap.
  • Planning, identifying, communicating, and delegating responsibilities to team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Managing and tracking stock of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
  • Maintaining outstanding store conditions and visual merchandising compliance with brand standards.
  • Directly responsible for production, cleanliness, maintenance, sanitation, and organization of the makery.
  • Conducting performance assessments, providing feedback, and setting challenging goals to improve sales performance.

Requirements

  • Management and/or sales experience required.
  • Basic computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple situations simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor.
  • Team building skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate.
