About the position

The Store Manager at Zales Outlet is responsible for leading the daily operations of the store, focusing on achieving sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and team development. Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the store to achieve sales and profitability goals.
• Coach and develop store staff to ensure consistent brand representation and customer interactions.
• Communicate performance expectations and ensure team members understand their impact on company success.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through training and outreach.
• Develop strategies to maximize sales potential and achieve sales quotas.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere that values diversity and inclusion.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain store cleanliness.
• Monitor team performance and provide ongoing coaching and development.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of college preferred.
• At least 3 years of retail sales experience, or 2 years of retail sales experience plus 1 year of retail management experience.
• Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business-related technology.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with employees and customers.
• Ability to plan and organize tasks to meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Preference for candidates with specialty retail or jewelry experience.
• Diamond Council of America (DCA) certification preferred.
