About the position

The Retail Store Manager at SalonCentric is responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales in the beauty industry. This role involves recruiting and developing talent, setting clear goals, and creating strategies to enhance store performance while fostering a positive work environment. The manager will also engage in continuous education on hair and beauty products and explore growth opportunities within the company.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a high-performing team that exceeds customer expectations.
• Recruit and train the best talent for the store.
• Provide constructive feedback and continuous development for team members.
• Establish and communicate a clear vision and goals for the team.
• Create measurable strategies to drive sales and profitability.
• Monitor store performance and analyze sales trends to initiate changes.
• Promote teamwork and engage team members with energy and optimism.
• Create a positive working culture and recognize outstanding performance.
• Demonstrate integrity and build trust within the team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Self-directed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Outstanding customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use computerized point of sale system; SAP experience preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends as required.
• 18 years of age and High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk about the store throughout scheduled shift.
• A Cosmetology license is a plus, but not required.
