About the position

The Retail Store Manager at Talk More Wireless is responsible for driving sales and building brand awareness for Metro by T-Mobile at the retail store level. This role involves training and supporting store associates, managing daily operations, and directly engaging with customers to enhance sales performance. The manager will also coordinate special events and ensure operational excellence within the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide impactful training and education to retail sales associates on the features and benefits of Metro by T-Mobile products and services.
• Provide operational excellence with weekly inventory counts, returns, and overall store daily operations.
• Build strong partnerships with the store sales associates and store leadership, providing value through regular, ongoing support.
• Lead from the front with daily store sales activities.
• Conduct assisted selling events, demonstrate, and articulate product features, meeting sales goals during peak selling periods with personal sales involvement.
• Drive in-store sales through RSA training, consumer sales events, and overall store support of the Metro by T-Mobile brand.
• Manage, set up, and reset client merchandise displays in retail locations; implement and troubleshoot visual merchandising.
• Coordinate and execute special awareness and sales events at retail locations and outside events, acting as a brand and category expert to retail sales associates and customers during these events.
• Participate in team trainings, execute contests throughout the region, and be an active participant of the team through various communications channels, weekly team meetings, and manager 1:1's.
• Work weekends and assist with selling events during key sales times.

Requirements

• 1+ years collaborating with customers directly or in a retail store environment.
• 1+ years of retail sales experience in a commission/bonus-based retail store environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Retail management experience (1 year preferred)
• Ability to relocate to Jonesboro, GA before starting work.
