About the position

The Retail Store Manager at Ollie's Bargain Outlet is responsible for leading the successful operation of the store, focusing on building and managing a team of associates dedicated to merchandising and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves financial oversight, strategic execution of company initiatives, and fostering a culture of growth and development among team members.

Responsibilities

• Provides financial oversight of all sales and profit goals, including management of payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, and shrink reduction.
• Demonstrates exceptional Associate and Customer service experiences, ensuring company standards are met in every interaction.
• Executes company strategies for merchandising, store standards, seasonal transition planning, and inventory processes.
• Acts as a 'talent grower' by coaching, training, developing, evaluating, supervising, and scheduling store associates.
• Maintains proper security of the store location and all company assets.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor's degree related to Business Management preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Must have a valid Driver's license.
