About the position

The Retail Store Manager at Music & Arts is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and sales of the store while ensuring high standards of customer service. This role involves managing the sales team, maintaining inventory, and executing operational tasks related to sales and rental services. The manager will also promote the Music & Arts lesson program and provide support to both customers and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales team by providing coaching, counseling, and motivation to meet sales objectives.
  • Stay current on financial data, inventory, and other statistics.
  • Ensure all products in the store are available for purchase and displayed appropriately.
  • Oversee payroll, recruiting, hiring, and training of store employees.
  • Execute operational tasks related to institutional sales and rental services for assigned accounts.
  • Promote the Music & Arts lesson program and assist teachers.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service to every customer.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3-5 years of retail experience.
  • Musical experience and interest.
