About the position

The Retail Store Manager at SalonCentric is responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales in the hair and beauty industry. This role involves recruiting and developing talent, setting clear goals, and creating strategies to enhance store performance while ensuring a positive work environment. The manager will also engage in continuous education and growth opportunities within the company.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a high-performing team that exceeds customer expectations.
• Recruit top talent and ensure team members have the necessary knowledge and tools for success.
• Provide constructive feedback and continuous development for team members.
• Establish and communicate a clear vision and motivate the team effectively.
• Create measurable strategies for the team and manage short and long-term goals.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability and act quickly to address them.
• Monitor store and team performance, analyze sales trends, and initiate changes as needed.
• Promote teamwork and engage team members with energy and optimism.
• Create a positive working culture and provide ongoing constructive feedback.
• Demonstrate integrity and build trust by delivering on commitments.

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Self-directed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Outstanding customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use computerized point of sale system; SAP experience preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends as required by availability guidelines.
• 18 years of age and High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk about the store throughout scheduled shifts.
• A Cosmetology license is a plus, but not required.
