About the position

As a Retail Store Manager at T-Mobile, you will lead and empower your team to excel in connecting customers with the T-Mobile brand. You will oversee all operations of the retail store, ensuring a high level of customer service and operational excellence. This role requires a strong focus on team development, sales management, and maintaining a positive store environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete observations of store employees' interactions with customers and provide feedback for development and training.
• Assist with customer-related issues to enhance the customer experience.
• Own store success by managing staffing, scheduling, marketing, and loss prevention.
• Support operational excellence by monitoring sales and inventory, and implementing new store programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment at all times.
• Hire passionate store employees who are committed to customer relationships and the T-Mobile brand.
• Support team development through training and mentoring.
• Lead by example and stay updated on products, services, and leadership best practices.
• Drive operational efficiencies to minimize risk and protect store assets.
• Deliver financial results based on key performance indicators and manage store expenses.
• Create personalized performance management plans for team members and celebrate achievements.
• Ensure store employees meet or exceed defined monthly success measurements and sales goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• 2-4 years of management experience in retail sales (Required)
• 2-4 years of sales and sales management experience (Required)
• Strong communication skills (Required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Required)
• Experience in store management (Required)
• Knowledge of store operations (Required)
• Customer service experience (Required)
