About the position

The Retail Store Manager at SalonCentric is responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales in a retail environment focused on hair and beauty products. This role involves recruiting and developing talent, setting clear goals, and creating strategies to enhance store performance while ensuring a positive work culture.

Responsibilities

• Builds a high-performing team by recruiting and developing talent.
• Establishes and communicates a clear vision and direction for the team.
• Creates strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Monitors store and team performance, analyzing sales trends and initiating changes as needed.
• Promotes teamwork and engages team members with energy and optimism.
• Provides ongoing constructive feedback to motivate team members.
• Demonstrates integrity and builds trust within the team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Self-directed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Outstanding customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use computerized point of sale system; SAP experience preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends as required.
• 18 years of age and High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk about the store throughout scheduled shift.

Nice-to-haves

• A Cosmetology license is a plus, but not required.
