About the position

The Retail Store Manager at Samsonite is responsible for driving sales and ensuring a positive customer experience in the store. This role involves managing store operations, protecting company assets, and leading a team to achieve sales and profit goals. The manager will also be involved in hiring, training, and coaching staff while maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support an environment that drives sales through strong customer service skills.

  • Achieve established sales and profit plans for the store.
  • Protect company assets and control inventory shrinkage.

  • Exhibit ownership and accountability in all tasks.
  • Hire, train, and coach a qualified store staff.

Requirements

  • Physical ability to stand, move around the store, lift/push products weighing up to 35 pounds, and use a ladder.
