The Retail Store Manager at The Connor Group is a pivotal role responsible for leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring the profitability of the property. This position requires a hands-on approach to management, overseeing various operational aspects including sales, maintenance, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to community engagement through the company's initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate your team while holding them highly accountable.
• Effectively manage bill-pay, expense control, and full P&L statement.
• Manage your maintenance team, coordinating work orders and apartment turns.
• Own all aspects of sales management - Traffic Building, New Rentals, and Renewals.
• Manage your sales team by selling alongside them.
• Master operational systems and processes.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Engage in community service through The Connor Group Kids & Community Partners.

Requirements

• 2-4 years as a Store Manager, General Manager, or Market Manager of a highly complex business.
• Proven track record in driving a profitable business.
• Comfortable holding accountability conversations and implementing performance improvement plans.
• Hands-on, shoulder-to-shoulder with your team.
• Open to direct feedback, resilient and solutions-oriented.
• Assertive leader with a passion for developing others.
