The Retail Store Tailor at Men's Wearhouse plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by providing expert alterations and tailoring services. This position focuses on ensuring that each garment fits well and meets the customer's expectations, contributing to their overall satisfaction and confidence in their appearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive input and valuable assistance throughout the entire customer experience.
• Assist in the selling process by greeting and interacting with customers.
• Respond to customer special requests regarding alterations.
• Expertly mark, alter, and press garments selected by customers.
• Ensure the proper fit of garments for customers.
• Answer customer questions related to alterations and tailoring.
• Maintain an open dialogue with management and team members.
• Help keep the tailor shop clean and organized.
• Offer new wardrobe ensemble suggestions to customers.

Requirements

• Formal training for tailoring preferred.
• Experience as a tailor for menswear highly preferred.
• Good technical skill in sewing and alterations.
• Sound knowledge of various types of sewing equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team attitude and enthusiasm.
• Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men's tailored clothing.
