About the position

As the Inventory Manager at Aritzia, you will play a pivotal role in the Inventory Management Department, which is dedicated to curating a beautiful merchandise assortment and creating exceptional shopping experiences. This position is not just about managing inventory; it’s about leading a team that ensures the seamless flow of merchandise into and out of the store, while also contributing to the overall operations of the retail space. You will be responsible for educating your team on best practices for inventory management, ensuring that every aspect of the retail environment is optimized for both efficiency and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will efficiently and accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments to and from our distribution centers, as well as between stores and directly to clients. You will strategically place products in the back room, ensuring an even distribution that achieves optimal balance and maintains ideal stock levels. Upholding the standards of product display is crucial, as you will ensure that the right products are in the right place according to the established merchandising placement plan. Your efforts will enable seamlessly integrated cross-channel shopping experiences, enhancing the overall customer journey. Additionally, you will support the seamless operations of all aspects of the retail space, which includes managing window installations, fitting room operations, supplies and equipment management, and providing technology support. By managing the day-to-day performance of your team, you will not only support business objectives but also foster an environment that encourages progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments to and from our distribution centres, from store to store, and to our clients.
  • Strategically place product in the back room, evenly distributing product to achieve optimal balance and ensuring product is stocked at the ideal quantities.
  • Uphold the standards of product display, ensuring the right product is in the right place per the right stock level per the established merchandising placement plan.
  • Enable seamlessly integrated cross-channel shopping experiences.
  • Support in the seamless operations of all aspects of the retail space, including window installations, fitting room operations, supplies and equipment management, and technology support.
