The Inventory Manager at Aritzia plays a crucial role in the Inventory Management Department, which is dedicated to creating a curated merchandise assortment and a seamless retail environment that enhances the shopping experience. In this role, the Inventory Manager will oversee the movement of merchandise into and out of the store, ensuring that operations run smoothly across all retail aspects. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for efficiently processing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that products are strategically placed in the back room to maintain optimal stock levels. This includes adhering to established merchandising placement plans to ensure that the right products are displayed in the right locations. The role also encompasses enabling integrated cross-channel shopping experiences, which is essential in today’s retail landscape. Additionally, the Inventory Manager will support various operational aspects of the retail space, including window installations, fitting room operations, and technology support, all while managing the day-to-day performance of the team to meet business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments to and from distribution centers, from store to store, and to clients.
  • Strategically place product in the back room, evenly distributing product to achieve optimal balance and ensuring product is stocked at ideal quantities.
  • Uphold the standards of product display, ensuring the right product is in the right place per the right stock level per the established merchandising placement plan.
  • Enable seamlessly integrated cross-channel shopping experiences.
  • Support in the seamless operations of all aspects of the retail space, including window installations, fitting room operations, supplies and equipment management, and technology support.
  • Support business objectives by managing the day-to-day performance of the team.

Requirements

  • Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in inventory management or related fields.
