About the position

The Retail Supervisor at Billabong is responsible for overseeing store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and enhancing the customer experience. This part-time role involves managing store opening and closing procedures, coaching retail associates, driving sales, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization. The position requires a passion for the brand and the action sports industry, as well as strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and enforce company policies, procedures, and corporate directives
• Execute store opening and closing procedures and be responsible for store keys and security measures
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed
• Provide basic coaching to Retail Associates as needed
• Help build a product-knowledge driven sales culture
• Actively engage with customers' wants and needs
• Drive sales and build relationships with customers
• Represent the brand with knowledge of products
• Complete customer transactions in a timely and accurate manner
• Inform customers of current sales and promotions
• Merchandise men's, women's, and kid's clothing and accessories
• Maintain floor appearance by receiving, checking, and shelving merchandise
• Maintain store cleanliness by keeping areas organized and uncluttered
• Collaborate with the team and delegate tasks as needed
• Contribute to a fun, organized, efficient environment and lead by example
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 6 months to 1-year experience in retail, preferably in an apparel store
• Flexible schedule; ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Familiarity with the brand and action sports industry
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lead a team by example
• Responsible and dependable
• Strong ethical behavior
• Strong sales training and knowledge
