About the position

The Retail Supervisor at Table Mountain Casino is responsible for assisting the Retail Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the retail outlets, ensuring high standards of guest service, merchandising, and cash handling. This role involves supervising personnel, managing inventory, and maintaining compliance with casino service standards while fostering a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Retail Manager with the supervision of Retail Outlet personnel.
• Manage daily operations of the retail outlets including merchandising, ordering, and cash handling.
• Ensure guest service needs are identified and resources are deployed for excellent service.
• Monitor training of all personnel in service standards and guest service protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of retail outlets in accordance with casino standards.
• Assist with staffing, training, and scheduling of Team Members.
• Prepare evaluations and issue disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Mentor and coach Team Members for career development.
• Resolve guest concerns in accordance with service standards.
• Audit end of shift reports for accuracy and complete cashiers' shift reset process.
• Maintain knowledge of casino and hotel information to assist guests.
• Plan and execute scheduled physical retail inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of cash-handling and guest service experience required.
• Two years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Previous experience in hospitality, casino, hotel, retail, or guest services preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in human resources management.
• Knowledge of ServSafe standards.
