About the position

The Retail Supervisor at the Main Golf Shop is responsible for leading and directing the retail team to ensure exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals. This role involves coaching staff, managing daily operations, and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment. The supervisor will also handle staffing issues, oversee inventory, and implement sales-driving events while embodying the values of Pinehurst.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the retail team to meet customer service standards.
• Coach retail staff to provide superior customer service.
• Implement daily tasks for all employees and ensure completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized shopping environment.
• Handle customer service issues effectively.
• Coordinate break schedules for employees.
• Assist with staffing and scheduling in the absence of the Retail Operations Manager.
• Communicate retail strategies and updates to the team.
• Assist in inventory management for the Main Golf Shop.
• Develop sales-driving events and contests to achieve sales results.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 12 months related experience in retail or customer service.
