About the position

The Retail Systems Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing operations across 50+ retail locations in four states. This position focuses on enhancing operational processes and systems to support the growth and stability of the retail department, with a particular emphasis on managing the POS system (Dutchie) and ensuring compliance with brand standards. The role requires collaboration with various cross-functional teams to optimize retail operations and improve customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic operations for 50+ retail locations across 4 states.
  • Oversee BOH systems focusing on POS (Dutchie), integrations, and menus.
  • Drive retail operation excellence and standards across all markets.
  • Create standard operating procedures (SOP) for retail operations.
  • Project manage internal/external teams for sourcing, implementation, and troubleshooting of store software/IT tools.
  • Ensure retail operations meet brand standards in collaboration with HQ.
  • Continuously improve operations processes using retail customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to support retail needs.
  • Evaluate current retail store plans and optimize for new store openings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in similar operational or retail store leadership roles.
  • Prior working experience with Dutchie POS system (or similar).
  • Experience working across multiple retail locations.
  • Experience with retail systems, integrations, and vendor management in the cannabis industry.
  • Strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial start-up culture.
  • Ability to handle multiple overlapping store openings and reprioritize when needed.
  • Must be 21 years or older with the ability to pass a criminal background check.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior direct management and training experience.
  • Cross-functional team leadership experience.
  • Business degree or qualifications in Information Systems.
