About the position

The Retail Training Program is a unique opportunity designed to empower individuals aspiring to thrive in the retail sector. Delivered in a fully remote format, this program offers comprehensive online learning that covers essential aspects of the retail industry, including customer service, inventory management, merchandising strategies, and sales techniques. Participants will also develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills necessary for success in a fast-paced retail environment. Upon completion, participants will earn certifications endorsed by the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and receive job placement assistance to help secure employment in the retail industry.

Responsibilities

• Participate in comprehensive online training sessions.
• Gain knowledge in customer service, inventory management, merchandising strategies, and sales techniques.
• Develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Complete assessments to demonstrate understanding of course material.
• Earn certifications endorsed by the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Requirements

• Must provide proof of Work Authorization.
• Must reside in the Southwestern region of Connecticut.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass an assessment.
