About the position

The Retail Visual Associate at Uniqlo is responsible for maintaining brand integrity through effective visual merchandising and presentation in the store. This part-time role involves adapting corporate visual direction to meet individual store needs, driving sales through strategic merchandise placement, and ensuring a consistent customer experience. The position requires collaboration with management to implement seasonal merchandising initiatives and monitor merchandise performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain brand standards for visual presentation, cleanliness, and organization throughout the store.
• Ensure all merchandise is represented on the floor in full size runs with proper signage.
• Partner with management to prepare for and implement seasonal merchandising presentations and new visual merchandising initiatives.
• Monitor merchandise sell-through and replenishment utilizing sales reports in collaboration with the management team.
• Create visually appealing displays to drive sales and respond to business needs.
• Adjust lighting to highlight merchandise and displays according to company standards.
• Proactively manage customer needs and exceed expectations using the U.N.I.Q.L.O. service standard.
• Provide product and brand knowledge to employees and customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures, notifying management of any infractions.
• Assist management in identifying and resolving store issues.
• Support the store team in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in retail.
• Ability to create compelling visual presentations according to company guidelines and brand standards.
• Ability to drive sales through effective merchandise placement and display.
• Excellent eye for detail and ability to offer solutions to visual merchandising challenges.
• Ability to identify potential visual merchandising opportunities and provide creative solutions.
• Ability to work within teams and create partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with a sense of urgency.
