About the position

The Strategic Marketing Manager at Prudential will lead the development and execution of data-driven marketing strategies for the individual retirement strategies business. This role focuses on optimizing campaign effectiveness, maximizing ROI, and driving customer acquisition and retention through high-impact marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales understanding and experience in performance marketing, collaborating with analytics teams to enhance targeting and personalization efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee and execute high-impact customer acquisition and retention campaigns across core marketing channels.
  • Leverage performance metrics to continuously enhance campaigns, ensuring alignment with goals, KPIs, and objectives.
  • Partner with analytics experts to gain insights into customer behavior, refining targeting and personalization efforts.
  • Utilize competitor insights to enhance performance marketing strategies and seize market opportunities.

Requirements

  • 8 years of marketing or business experience within the retirement markets space, preferably in individual annuities.
  • Significant exposure and understanding of the sales process, with experience in creating, implementing, and measuring impactful sales marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with high attention to detail and excellent follow-up.
  • Independent self-starter who takes ownership of initiatives and projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong marketing storytelling abilities.
  • Exceptional presentation development skills, simplifying complex messages for various audiences.
  • Experience with B2B and B2B2C marketing strategies.
  • Excellence in developing omni-channel marketing campaigns with a focus on performance-based marketing.

  • Experience and expertise with digital marketing platforms (Adobe suite experience).
  • Experience developing segmentation strategies in complex market environments.
  • Experience in operating in an agile marketing environment.
