The Retirement Member Services Associate position at the San Diego County Employees Retirement Association (SDCERA) is focused on assisting County employees in planning for and enjoying their retirement. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including data input, research, analysis, benefit calculations, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and have a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data input and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct research and analysis related to retirement benefits.
  • Calculate pension benefits for County employees.
  • Provide superior customer service to assist employees with their retirement planning.
  • Ensure timely and accurate pension payments.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency.
  • Two years of experience performing financial calculations, statistical/metrics analysis, and data review.
  • Strong keyboarding and data entry skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
