About the position

The Revenue Cycle Analyst plays a crucial role in providing analytical and consultative support to enhance revenue cycle operations. This position focuses on delivering data-driven insights and actionable information to improve efficiency and implement best practices. The analyst will be responsible for developing, producing, and maintaining reports that support management and executive decision-making, as well as operational support.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and operational data analysis to generate insights that advance departmental, entity, and system initiatives.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and balanced scorecards using visual analytics to improve organizational decision-making.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle operations and Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst to develop impactful analysis and messaging for assigned customers.
• Identify revenue cycle trends in data to drive process improvements and enhance the health system's bottom line.
• Understand business impacts of simple problems and discuss recommendations collaboratively.
• Develop and deliver impactful presentations for senior executives and key stakeholders.
• Serve as the revenue cycle specialist and liaison for assigned customers, developing solutions to operational and billing functions.
• Lead training and education of end users on self-service reporting tools, preparing instructional materials.
• Identify emerging revenue cycle trends and recommend analyses to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in revenue cycle analysis or related field.
• General understanding of Revenue Cycle and associated data analysis.
• Proficiency in capturing customer requirements during meetings.
• Familiarity with storytelling concepts and tools.
• High attention to detail and complex data analysis abilities.
• Strong computer skills and independent judgment in decision-making.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with data query and visualization tools like SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Experience with Epic Cogito tools - Workbench and Slicer Dicer.
• Experience with Epic Caboodle and Clarity.
