About the position

Hostaway is a marketing leading SaaS scale-up transforming the vacation rental industry. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to support our internal RevOps function. This fully remote role will involve collaborating with peers and internal customers across North America and Europe. The Data Engineer will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our data infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of revenue-related processes, and providing critical insights through data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and optimizing revenue operations data infrastructure in fast-growing scaleups. In this role, you will support and improve technical data-based revenue operations capabilities that drive efficiency across our go-to-market functions. You will ensure accurate and timely reporting and analytics to support decision-making, administer and iterate various architectural components of our RevOps platform, and build the necessary data structure and architecture for reporting on business performance. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to align on revenue goals and reporting needs. Responsibilities

• Support and improve technical data-based revenue operations capabilities that drive efficiency across our GTM functions.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting and analytics to support decision-making.
• Administer, iterate, and potentially implement various architectural components of our RevOps platform.
• Build data structure and architecture which is required for reporting on business performance.
• Collaborate and consult with sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to align on revenue goals and reporting needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a B2B SaaS scaling-up product company.
• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering in a B2B SaaS company.
• Proven proficiency with Google Cloud or AWS for data storage, processing, and management.
• Advanced knowledge of Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
• Experience with Google Big Query (or similar) for large-scale data warehousing and querying.
• Proven experience in managing data pipelines and infrastructure in a rapidly scaling environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and deliver data-driven insights.
• Experience supporting revenue operations, or a related field, especially in relation to commercial performance KPIs is a plus.
