About the position

The Revenue Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and optimizing revenue-generating activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles to collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of ASC 606 on revenue recognition processes and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple priorities and deadlines, ensuring that all revenue-related activities are conducted in accordance with established guidelines and regulations. In this role, the Revenue Compliance Manager will oversee the review of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and contracts to ensure that the processes are complete and accurate. They will establish the annual Standalone Selling Price (SSP) pricing and record quarterly revenue adjustments, including open item calculations. Monthly reconciliation and reporting on consolidated revenue from Oracle to General Ledger (GL) will be a key responsibility, along with maintaining up-to-date revenue process documentation from start to end. The Revenue Compliance Manager will assist in the annual audit and help establish internal audit processes. They will also review credit impacts and assess whether a credit reserve is required. Additionally, the role involves integrating acquisitions into the revenue processes, conducting monthly reviews, and drafting memos. The candidate will be responsible for drafting White Papers and/or new policies on compliance with ASC 606 or any applicable GAAP regulations. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on new SKU/products will also be part of the responsibilities, ensuring that the production environment matches what was tested.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
  • Experience leading ASC 606 implementation projects.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • CPA preferred.
