About the position

The Revenue Analyst position at Broadridge is a contract role within the corporate finance team, focusing on the monthly billing cycle and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role emphasizes problem-solving, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility between on-site and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, prepare and analyze data from multiple systems to process revenue entries, journal entries, and other financial transactions and invoices.
• Follow established procedures to minimize the organization and clients' exposure or liabilities.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls and requirements, SEC regulations, and client contracts.
• Recognize and troubleshoot issues with daily procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of general ledger entries and calculations of month-end accrual, amortization, and revenue deferrals.
• Research issues with internal partners and respond to customer, client, and/or internal client requests via telephone and/or email.
• Obtain relevant business knowledge and learn about the various products across the organization.
• Learn, understand, and ensure compliance with all applicable Broadridge policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong data analytics skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (V-lookups, Pivot Tables a plus).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Access is not required but is a plus.
