VTrips, a leader in vacation property management, invites you to join our dynamic team as a Revenue Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our revenue performance, partnering closely with various teams to optimize our revenue strategies and support decision-making processes. This position is specifically for candidates located on the East Coast. As a Revenue Analyst, you will conduct in-depth analysis for both short- and long-term forecasting, identifying opportunities for revenue optimization while flagging any anomalies or issues that may arise. You will collaborate with the product team to create and produce reports that support the needs of the Revenue, Marketing, and other teams. Monitoring market performance against competitive sets will be a key responsibility, as you will develop scalable processes to identify growth opportunities and proactively address concerns. Additionally, you will contribute to cross-functional Revenue Management projects to ensure successful implementation and assist in establishing and maintaining the Revenue Management playbook to support market operations. Your role will also involve providing detailed projections and analysis for unique properties that do not fit into standard pricing models. In times of need, you may step in as a Revenue Manager to cover for team absences (PTO, etc.). Responsibilities

  • Monitor market performance against competitive sets, developing scalable processes to identify growth opportunities and address proactive concerns.
  • Contribute to cross-functional Revenue Management projects to ensure successful implementation.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining the Revenue Management playbook to support market operations.
  • Provide detailed projections and analysis for unique properties that do not fit into standard pricing models.
  • Step in as a Revenue Manager when needed to cover for team absences (PTO, etc.).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality Management, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in revenue management, ideally within the hospitality, vacation rental, or property management sectors.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with PMS, Key Data Dashboard, PowerBI, Tableau, and SQL/mySQL is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficient in revenue management tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting market conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience with online travel agencies (OTAs) and other distribution channels is a plus.
