About The Position

The Revenue Analyst plays a crucial role in assisting the General Manager and hotel leadership in identifying and maximizing revenue opportunities for a specific hotel. This position involves analyzing demand reports, adjusting pricing strategies, and communicating sales strategies to enhance revenue performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; College degree preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel.
  • Ability to create documents, charts, and spreadsheets to convey information clearly.
  • Ability to assimilate complex information from disparate sources.
  • Understanding of financial information and basic arithmetic functions.
  • Critical thinking skills to investigate changes in demand and production.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational management skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Friendly, objective, and service-oriented approach in all encounters.

Responsibilities

  • Complete applicable training in respective hospitality systems and processes.
  • Prepare and analyze daily demand reports and reports for weekly revenue strategy meetings.
  • Complete Group Displacements when needed.
  • Adjust rate and inventory controls and communicate changes to strategy teams.
  • Assist in the implementation of annual strategic pricing including rate loading.
  • Schedule and analyze market pricing reports to identify pricing opportunities.
  • Develop understanding of TravelClick 360 reports for trends and booking windows.
  • Communicate sales strategy for day, week, month, and rolling 12 months.
  • Analyze prior night successes to evaluate decision-making for overselling.
  • Place test calls to ensure accuracy of rate quoting restrictions and selling approach.
  • Monitor hotel website, OTA's, and GDS channels for accuracy of rate quoting restrictions.
  • Work with the strategy team to project future transient demand and analyze performance vs. potential.
  • Attend meetings/trainings and perform other duties as requested by management.
